Arrival in Athens, Greece
Welcome to Athens! Meet your traveling companion in the Airport of Athens. Transfer from the airport to Hotel. Dinner and overnight in Athens.
Athens City Tour & New Acropolis Museum
Panoramic city tour including guided visit of Acropolis, Constitution Square and the changing of the guard, the Panathenaic Stadium, University and the National Library followed by the New Acropolis Museum. Optional lunch in Plaka, break for shopping. Optional dinner downtown with traditional folklore show. Dinner and overnight in Athens.
Corinth, Mycenae, Epidaurus
Drive through the Corinth Canal passing outside of the Ancient Corinth, where St. Paul preached. The tour continues with a visit of the Archaeological Site and the Museum of Mycenae to admire the Beehive Tombs, the Treasury of Atreus and the Lion Gate. Short drive to Epidaurus for a tour of its 2,300-year-old open-air theater. Dinner and overnight in Athens.
Delphi
The tour continues to Delphi where the ancient sanctuary of the god Apollo is. Visit of the Archaeological Site and Museum to admire the Charioteer. Optional lunch stop in Arachova. On the way back to Athens, you will be informed about Thebes, the setting of Sophocles' Oedipus Rex. Optional dinner at seaside restaurant in Mikrolimano, a picturesque district of the port of Athens, Piraeus. Dinner and overnight in Athens.
